What a year it has been! If you’ve been following along, you know Beresford’s has been on quite a journey — and I’d like to share where we’ve been and where we’re headed next.
For the past nine months, I stepped into a role outside the shop. It was an incredible opportunity to work with some great people, and I’m grateful for what I learned. But now that chapter is complete, and I’m back home at Beresford’s. It feels good to be behind the counter again.
While I was away, Emily continued to grow in her role. She’s developing into our General Manager, keeping things steady and strong.
We’ve also welcomed new members to the team:

Heather is transforming our Deli — streamlining operations so you’ll see faster service and elevating our offerings so you’ll taste the difference. You’ll continue to enjoy Boar’s Head (a customer favorite), plus look for new Beresford’s-branded cheeses and meats made just for our shop.

Shannon is leading the front of house. Her focus is making sure your time in the shop is warm, welcoming, and easy — from a quick lunch run to stocking up for the weekend.
On the growth side, we’ve decided to pause expansion efforts and focus on strengthening our local team first. Our goal is simple: deliver the highest-quality products and service, right here in Calcutta. We’re also looking for resilient, motivated people to join our crew — folks who love continuous improvement and want to be part of something special.
As we close out 2025, we’re building momentum and looking forward to starting 2026 fresh, strong, and ready to serve you even better.
